HiCAD: Two worlds combined
HiCAD, the 2-D/3-D CAD software from the ISD Group, enables facade builders to design extremely efficiently by combining mechanical and architectural aspects of the design process. Willem van Kreij, Sales Consultant at the ISD Group, explains why this combination makes facade builders so performant.
HiCAD 2021 offers you countless industry-specific innovations and enhancements. Examples are the convenient derivation of sheets from 3-D surfaces with bend zones or milling edge zones, the design variant for sheet metal clamps in Metal Engineering, the sketch-based guidelines in Plant Engineering, the inclined ALUCOBOND® panels for element installation and much more.
HELiOS 2021, too, presents itself with numerous user-oriented new and further developments for an even more efficient product data management. One focus of our developers was the further expansion of the CAD/CAE interfaces. Examples are the new batch re-import, the support of suppressed parts and the taking into account of part dependencies in SOLIDWORKS.
Every year, the ISD Calendar is filled with impressive customer projects that were realized with HiCAD. The month of February is dedicated to our customer Gasklar GmbH & Co. KG from the beautiful East Frisian region in the northwest of Germany, who has built an impressive, mobile gas pressure control and measurement system. Learn more about pipeline planning with HiCAD.
