The new product generation of our CAD and PDM/PLM solution will impress you with a multitude of new functions and technical advancements. The highlights of the new version can be found in the News.

A little tip before you start reading: On our YouTube channel we regularly present our ShortClips about numerous new features in HiCAD and HELiOS. You can already find first videos about our new software version there. You can visit or subscribe to our channel at any time, if you do not want to miss any of our videos.

HiCAD 2018 - The new CAD system generation

The software developers of the ISD Software und Systeme GmbH have put a lot of hard work, time and effort into the new version HiCAD 2018 to provide you with a powerful, stable and sophisticated CAD solution. In close cooperation between the Technical Management, Product Management and Software Development, many of our customers' wishes and suggestions could be realized in the new release. HELiOS 2018 - Efficient product data management

		With many user-oriented new functions and enhancements, HELiOS 2018 allows an easy and efficient product data management. The developmental focuses for this version included the new HELiOS Workspace for the Office Interface and the editing of attributes for items that have been combined into sets. The multi-CAD interfaces, too, have many new and enhanced features to offer.

HELiOS 2018 - With new module structure

HELiOS 2018 comes with a revised, new module structure. This modification enables you to manage articles independent of the CAD interfaces, e.g. to HiCAD, AutoCAD, Inventor, SOLIDWORKS and EPLAN!
A further expansion of the available CAD interfaces is planned for the following Service Packs, e.g. to Navisworks and Rhino.

Video Tip: The new exploded view - Part 1

The new "Exploded view" function allows you to display assemblies in a dismantled state. The dismantling is achieved by a displacement of the individual parts of the assembly. Watch our new HiCAD ShortClip "The new exploded view - Part 1" to see how this is done in practice.

Webinar: Integration of HELiOS into oxaion

Today manual data input does no longer meet modern standards, as it is very time-consuming and prone to errors. With the integration of HELiOS into the ERP solution of the OXAION GmbH, article masters of parts, assemblies, bills of materials, models and sketches can be easily synchronized across systems, departments and locations.
